Du bus et encore du bus...

C'est parti pour le Cambodge ! Le paysage change totalement à la frontière. Et, une fois de plus, je me retrouve dans un pays dont je ne connais pas l'écriture... Galères en perspective !

On passe sur des routes dans un état catastrophique. Il faudrait un 4x4 ! ... mais on est en bus... Le sol est de la terre battue avec des trous et des crevasses énormes. Impossible de dormir, les secousses sont permanentes. Le chauffeur s'arrête plusieurs fois pour vérifier que rien n'est cassé. On croise des bus "en rade" sur le bord de la route. On croise aussi des camionnettes, pleines, chargées sur le toit de marchandises et de passagers (On se croirait dans Pékin-Express).

Je paie 2$ de plus pour avoir un bus rapide (environ 6h au lieu de 12h)... Arrivés à la frontière cambodgienne, les gardes réclament 25$ pour le visa, alors que c'est 20$. Si on ne paie pas leur pot-de-vin, on doit attendre un jour avant de passer la frontière... pffff... tout le monde est impressionné, tout le monde paie le "supplément". Plus loin, on se fait arrêter. Le chauffeur doit payer un autre "supplément" pour passer sur un pont. Finalement, le bus mettra plus de 10h pour arriver à Phnom Penh. Ça aussi c'est de l'arnaque !

Heureusement, je me suis assise dans le bus à côté d'un cambodgien réfugié en France depuis une trentaine d'années. Il rentrait pour la première fois "chez lui", il m'a raconté plein de choses. Heureusement,... il a sauvé ma journée "arnaque".
